11. Detailed Response to First Day of Class: Weird facts I

The first day of class we were assigned to introduce ourselves by saying one weird fact. I came up with several:

1. I blow bubbles to cheer up
2. Awkward scenes in movies hit too close to home so I leave the room when they happen. I can handle gore, death, horror, but not embarrassment.
3. I shower in the dark
4. Christmas lights are like drugs to me. I have them everywhere in the apartment.
5. I like looking at photos of the morbidly obese
6. I am allergic to everything except guinea pigs
7. I wear bathrobes
8. I smoke cigarettes because my Grandma smoked them and they smell like her
9. I can’t masturbate because of my imagination
10. I listen to harry potter audiobooks every day for 8 years
11. I can find anything on the internet
12. I lucid dream
13. I play N64 and only N64
14. I ask questions to make people feel comfortable and don’t listen to their answers
15. I brush my hair in the shower
16. I keep my apartment at 58 degrees and take scalding hot showers
17. I have a weird thing for manatees that ill pay 30 just to stare at the one in the dallas aquarium
18. I don’t drive
19. I lie to all my uber drivers about being pregnant
20. I hate kids and LOVE babies
21. I can pick out any song on the piano that I hear
22. I can only listen to audiobooks and hear them if I am doing something else mindless, or else my mind blocks them out
23. I can’t hear lyrics
24. My original name is Maureen O’ Mahoney O’Martin. My parents are from Ireland
25. I never want to get married because I hate roommates
26. I take 6 pills a day
27. I love subtitles
28. I tell the Starbucks guy my name is Mary because he can’t spell Maureen

30. I have taken the meyers brigggs 4 times and gotten different results each time
