In 1932, Austrailia declared war on an old enemy…the emu. Known as the “Great Emu War”, the government decided their attempts to lower the Emu Population that was running amok in the Campion District of Western Australia were ineffective so they declared a violent war that lasted a whole month. Machine guns were used (really) battles were thought with the emus suffering some causalities. The farmers were still pissed and requested to continue the war but when news about this campaign spread, the conservationists in Great Britain put their foot down to prevent “The mass destruction of the birds”.

So who won?

That’s right. The Emu’s have been taunting the locals with their victory ever since.

To be fair to the Australians, you can tell the Emu’s are devious Bastards.
