My marketing class called “Intro to Creativity” was my favorite of all time. I had a chance to stretch creative freedom and loved it so much, I decided to fuck physics and do something creative for the rest of my life.
An assignment was given to make a short commercial which “sells yourself”. There were 200 students in the class – 90% in Greek Life, 5% taking the class because it seemed like an easy A, 3% stoners, 1% Asian (Which one did I fall into?).
I decided to shake things up and make things uncomfortable…it paid off! Out of 100 people mine was chosen as an example for future classes. Which, if you read that other integrated media project, means I raped rocked both major projects in the class.
This was the first project so, not knowing I would care about the class, I shot this in 10 minutes, with my brother, and then used power point.
My fridge looks better now…but that’s probably because I live with my parents.
While it’s not the most digitally fascinating, it holds a dear place in my heart.
