Prompt from my poetry course: How did you develop as a poet?
What defines growth?
If progression as a poet is characterized by an increase in skill level, syntax sophistication, basic understanding of the discipline itself, acceleration in grammatical wordplay, or achievement of clarity in through use and/or interpretation of the abstract, then I have failed here. That being said, I believe that any attempt is a feat in itself. Or so my mother tells me.
